Surface of Mars

When you arrive at this planet you might see vast sandy deserts and ice capped mountians. Unlike Earth much of this ice is frozen carbon dioxide! That being said, you will need to urgently find shelter as the thin atmosphere is devoid of protective gases like an ozone layer, which would give you an instant sunburn.
