Photosynthesis

Harnessing the sun's energy, plants have the ability to convert atmospheric carbon dioxide into the biological molecules necessary for life. They accomplish this astounding feat through a process known as photosynthesis. In removing carbon from atmosphere earth's vegetation has the ability to store significant amounts of carbon. Each year the atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration fluctuates due to seasonal changes in the amount of photosynthesis occurring.
